At Garden Park, we strive to be good stewards of what God has give to us and want to live out the biblical mandate to care for our neighbors (I Timothy 6:18). The Benevolence Team has been formed to care for those in our community who are experiencing trouble securing the necessities or life - things such as food, shelter and utilities.

Children & Students
Knowing that the future of the church will rest on their shoulders, we have many ministries to serve and train up our children and students. (See also the information under our "Learning" tab.)
Primary Contact: Youth Pastor Joe Pittenger Preschool & Nursery - Our "Kidz 4 Jesus" Preschool Department serves families with children infants through age 5. We have safe, comforting care for infants and toddlers, as well as a Tiny Church program for 3-, 4-, and 5-year olds. We are in great need of willing volunteers to staff our Infant and Toddler rooms on a once-a-month basis, and helpers for Tiny Church, who work one month at a time. It's not just "babysitting"; it's nurturing the future of the church!

Building & Grounds
Several teams are involved in keeping our building and grounds in good repair, making them attractive and seasonally decorated, and cleaning on a regular basis.Landscaping & Lawn Care - Our facility sits on a twenty-acre plot of land. Volunteers keep the lawn cut, shrubs and trees trimmed, and maintain the appearance of five acres. Others serve to maintain and improve the plantings of flowers and grasses in our flowerbeds. About twelve acres are used for farming.
Contact: Mark AllisonDecorating - Individuals with a good eye for decor develop and execute ongoing plans to decorate for the changing seasons and for special events and holidays.
Contact: Ann ThybaultCleaning Teams - The people of our church volunteer to keep our building clean. Lifeline groups, families and individuals form teams to get the job done. Each team serves once every two months. When you are connected with a cleaning team, you can work together or on your own, according to your own schedule. This is an act of service that can be done by just about anyone and you can offer as much or as little time as you have available.
