Global Outreach

Garden Park Christian Church actively participates in taking the gospel around the world through our support of mission work. We support four missionaries/mission organizations through regular financial gifts, correspondence and prayer. All of these missions are focused on bringing the gospel to people groups who do not yet have it.

  • Active Christians Today – Ministry to college students on the campuses of The University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University. Campus ministers are Dave Warner and Dan Wearsch.
  • Pioneer Bible Translators – PBT works around the globe to translate the Bible into the native heart language of unreached people. Our PBT missionary is Wendy Beerbower, who is also an active member at Garden Park.
  • Great Lakes Christian College – Located in Lansing, Michigan, GLCC serves as a training ground for preachers, Christian educators, and church workers, as well as providing a Biblical worldview education for students who will serve in other vocations.
  • Outreach International – Garden Park supports Allen & Betty Pierce, whose work focuses on translation efforts for the Fang people of Equatorial Guinea, Africa.
  • Library

Our church Library serves as a resource center that helps with education and discipleship. Our goal is to provide the church family with scripturally sound, biblically based materials that are in keeping with the teaching of scripture and Garden Park. We have resources for adults and children, including various kinds of fiction, biographies, Bible study materials, and non-fiction on a wide range of topics. If you love reading, we can use your help in reviewing, cataloguing and critiquing materials. Contact: Cathy Antoszewski, Joyce Fuller

    Lifelines

Lifeline home Bible study gorups are designed to provide a setting for adults to grow in their faith and in their relationships with one another. Lifelines include teaching, discussion, prayer and fellowship. Groups meet on different evenings during the week, at several locations in the Toledo area. Designed for adults, some Lifelines offer child care in the host's home while others do not. We encourage newcomers to visit a few groups to find the one that is the best fit for you! For a complete listing of active groups and contact information, click the "Church Family" tab of the website.
